Discovery Parks – Coolwaters is happy to design a customised package tailored to meet your group’s booking needs. We have ideal spaces for School and Community Group camps and events as well as a range of other private functions.

Our event facilities include:

• Camp and conference centre with 6 dorm rooms and dorm ensuites
• A large 140sqm dining hall seating up to 150
• A large 180sqm function hall seating up to 200 including a large projector screen, lectern, whiteboard and large kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities
• The Lodge; a 7-bedroom, 2-bathroom house (25 beds in total)

Location

Looking for some awesome sights to see? The Rosslyn Bay Marina with vessels departing to the wonderful Keppel Islands is just two minutes from our holiday park. The Capricorn Caves, Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Dreamtime Cultural Centre and Koorana Crocodile Farm and other tourist attractions such as Rockhampton Zoo, Rockhampton Botanic Gardens, Kershaw Gardens and Mount Archer to name a few are all close by. Let us assist with booking your group's activities as part of your camp or event.

Accommodation

Whether you need accommodation for 10 people or 250, our park can cater for you in one convenient location for ease of supervision or a great social time! 

We can offer your group:

• Accommodation for up to 147 in the dorms, 25 in The Lodge
• Rooms are individually air-conditioned
• Rooms with own ensuite and air conditioning for teachers & supervisors
• Dining room, function room and recreation areas
• Have our catering staff prepare tasty breakfast/lunch/dinner menus as well as morning and afternoon tea from our full commercial kitchen
• Let us assist with booking local activities and visits to attractions
• We can provide packages that include our tourist cabins for larger groups.

You’ll also have access to our range of park facilities including our resort swimming pool, waterpark, playground, jumping pillow, BMX track, basketball and tennis courts, bushwalking trails, communal campfire pits (subject to weather) camp kitchen with BBQ facilities, guest laundries and more. Enjoy the Causeway Lake at your doorstep for kayaking/canoeing, fishing and water sports.
