Duration: 2 hours, departing every day from Easter until the end of October.

Depart: Between 4:40 – 6:00pm (Note - reception will confirm your departure time when you check in, please arrive to Undara by 4pm)

Tour Includes:

  • An experienced Undara tour guide to identify wildlife species.
  • Sparkling wine & nibbles as the sun sets.

Highlights:

Spot Australian native wildlife such as kangaroos and wallabies and bird species including colourful lorikeets, cockatoos, owls, and emus in the Savannah bushland as you’re guided through the Undara Volcanic National Park. Then, after a small walk, be rewarded with spectacular views from the top of the Sunset Bluff to enjoy a sparkling wine and nibbles as the big sky sunset dips below the horizon and sets over the volcanic plains below. You will then be taken to Barkers Cave on dusk as thousands of microbats emerge from the lava tubes looking for food. If you are lucky enough to join us during shoulder season, you can watch as the brown tree snakes and pythons hang from the trees and attempt to catch bats as they fly past; now that is a truly once in a lifetime experience!

As these animals are in their natural habitat, sometimes wildlife may not be seen during your tour, but our experienced Undara tour guides will do their best to spot them for you!
