TAMAR RIVER CRUISE

CATARACT GORGE
Just 15 minutes walk from the centre of Launceston here you'll find a slice of wilderness with walking and hiking trails, the world's longest single span chairlift, swimming pool, restaurant, kiosk and cafe all surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with peacocks and other wildlife.
BEACONSFIELD MINE & HERITAGE CENTRE
The interpretive, hands on displays will engage, educate or remind you of how life used to be as you take a trip back in time. The centre takes you on a journey through the Tamar's colourful and historic past and the excitement and realities of the elusive hunt for gold.
SEAHORSE WORLD
Take a behind the scenes look at the world's first working seahorse farm. Dedicated to the conservation of the mystical seahorse you'll also have the opportunity to get to know various other sea creatures in the Southern Ocean Aquarium including seadragons and giant Tasmanian crabs.
JAMES BOAGS BREWERY
Take a tour through the James Boag Brewery and see how they've been using Tasmania's pure water and natural ingredients to produce a range of beers since 1881. Hear about the pride and passion of the Boag's Brewers and how they quickly forged a reputation for making beers that were far from ordinary.
TASMANIA ZOO
Take a trip to Tasmania's largest wildlife park, set on 900 acres of private native bushland nestled in the foothills of the Tamar Valley and home to the largest collection of native and exotic animals in Tasmania including over 40 Tasmanian Devils.
